Jacqueline Corp-Myer, IBCLC, Owner (she/her)
Jacqueline is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant who focuses on supporting each family in their unique perinatal experience. Her expertise extends beyond feeding and lactation to include birth and postpartum doula support as well as babywearing consultations.
After experiencing her own struggles around birth and breastfeeding, she attended her first postpartum workshop several years ago. In her free time, she enjoys chasing after her own child, losing chess to her husband, hoarding yarn, modifying food recipes, and wrangling her senior cats.
In addition to office space conveniently located in downtown North Bend, Jacqueline also offers home visits throughout the Eastside, including: Bellevue, Carnation, Fall City, Issaquah, Kirkland, Maple Valley, Mercer Island, North Bend, Redmond, Renton, Sammamish, Snoqualmie, and Woodinville. Additional service areas may be available for an additional travel investment; please contact me directly to inquire.

About Nurtured Beginnings
Jacqueline was happily working while pregnant until she ended up on bed rest six weeks before the arrival of her little one. She noticed not only around her third trimester but particularly during her postpartum period that the care she and her baby received was less than adequate. Originally feeling discouraged and overwhelmed with her role as a new mother, she stumbled across information about postpartum doulas during one particularly intense late-night cluster feed. Intrigued, she opted to start the process of becoming a certified doula by attending a postpartum doula workshop through the Simkin Center at Bastyr. The workshop was eye-opening and inspiring. Encouraged to try and better support the postpartum experience for other mothers, their partners, and their families, she also expanded her trainings to become a Certified Lactation Educator, birth doula, and babywearing consultant.
Previously, Jacqueline babysat throughout high school and college, and she also helped to care for her two much younger siblings. She has also worked for twelve years in various service jobs (including as a server, bartender, supervisor of a restaurant, front desk at a local salon, retail manager, etc.). She is excited to finally see her various passions being offered in one career path!
